Cashflow is a user friendly spreadsheet designed to give you greater visibility of what is happening with the life blood of your business. Getting this information in a real time fashion allows you to make adjustments on a daily basis. Furthermore, you can get the advantage of being able to maximise the interest earned on available funds right up until the day you need them.
Remember, many profitable businesses have gone out of business, just because they didn’t manage their Cashflow!
Q. Why should I buy Cashflow?
A. Not only can Cashflow show you how your business is doing on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. But it shows your Gross & Net Profit margin (excluding non-Cash items) in dollars and as a percentage of sales. Furthermore, this enables you do to comparisons versus last month, last year, budget etc. Best of all, Cashflow will get your money working harder for you.
Q. What period of time does the Cashflow program cover?
A. Cashflow is designed to cover the financial year starting 1 April to 31 March the following year.
Q. If it is after the 1 st of April, do I need to enter all the old data from 1 April onwards?
A. No – Just complete the Setup page with the balance of your bank accounts from the date you wish to start. Then go to that month & day on the spreadsheet and start entering your receipts and payments from that date onwards.
Q. What does Cashflow cover?
A. Cashflow only covers items that pass through your bank account (i.e. Cash transactions). Non-cash transactions, for example depreciation are not included.
Q. Can I delete cells by accident?
A. All formulas have been protected. Therefore, you should not be able to delete important cells. To make it as easy as possible for you, the cells which you should enter data into have been coloured.
Q. Can I customize my Cashflow to suit my individual business requirements?
A. Yes you can make alterations. However, some cells are protected (e.g. formulas), so these won’t be able to changed. If you require changes to be made it is recommended that you contact us to customize it for you, and if relevant we will incorporate these into the next version of Cashflow. Then everyone can benefit.
Q. Is there an annual licence fee?
A. Yes - $50 +GST per year. This gives you access to the latest version of Cashflow and is payable at the expiry of your current version.
Q. What does the initial $99 cover?
A. You will receive the current version of Cashflow (valid until 31 March 2007) including Operating Instructions, plus the set up of your Call account.
Q. What does it cost if I need support?
A. You have 2 options. Firstly, you can setup an automatic payment for $7.50 + GST per month. This covers both the annual licence fee and ongoing telephone support. The Second option is to just pay for support on a call by call basis – this is charged on a per unit basis at $75 +GST per hour.
