LAQC status represents the ideal combination of the benefits of a company with the taxation benefits of a partnership, giving Shareholders the ability to obtain immediate benefit from tax losses incurred by the company.LAQC status comes with a cost – in the process of adopting LAQC status the company’s Shareholders must guarantee the company’s tax bill in proportion to their individual shareholdings. This guarantee is for Income Tax only and does not extend to GST, PAYE, FBT, or NRWT.
